While St Peter’s Church stands on the hill above the village and is floodlit each evening to celebrate special occasions or commemorate our loved ones, the Church Hall is situated in a pleasant setting near the Rectory and close to the centre of the village.
Vehicle access is via Vicarage Drive, halfway along the High Street between the clinic and the library, and there is a large car park and safe grassy area for play.
The hall has a stage and sound amplification system, a separate committee room and a newly refitted kitchen, plus shower and cloakroom facilities. It has recently been painted throughout.
It is used for occasions like the APCM and Harvest Supper and by church organisations including Mothers’ Union and the youth group AD33. It has also proved an excellent venue for fund raising activities such as Murder Mysteries, Kinver Krufts, Easter and Christmas Fairs and a series of quizzes.
The hall is hired out for regular village activities such as Brownies & Rainbows, several Dancing Schools, Mothers & Toddlers, Bridge, Yoga, Horticultural Society, Harp Group and Floral Art.
It is approved by the Girl Guide Association for pack holidays and indoor weekends.
Bookings are also taken for birthday parties, charity events and christenings. This programme of activities is organised by our Church Hall Management Team. For more information about what is going on at the Church Hall or to make a booking enquiry please contact us
