St Peter’s Church is part of the Benefice of Kinver and Enville, and with St Mary’s Church in Enville we love working with other Christians in our community. Churches Together in Kinver and Enville (CTiKE) is an umbrella body for this cooperation and has been established for a number of years. It brings together the representatives of St Peter’s and St Mary’s Enville with those of the Methodist Church in Enville Road, Kinver. CTiKE meets regularly to plan and review joint activities such as the Good Friday procession of witness. This starts at the Methodist church and winds its way through the village with stops for prayer and praise, calling at St Peter’s for refreshments on the way to the summit of Kinver Edge. Here, the Cross is planted above the village for all to see.
There is a fortnightly ecumenical communion service on Wednesdays in the Methodist Church. All our work with young people outside the regular services is done on an ecumenical basis with our Methodist partners.
